Marichal Hernández Launches Its 2025 Summer Program

The 2025 edition of the MH Summer Program has officially begun, reaffirming our firm’s commitment to mentoring and preparing the next generation of legal professionals in Puerto Rico. Designed to provide hands-on learning and meaningful exposure to legal practice, the program spans from June 2 through August 2 and offers a comprehensive experience across litigation, corporate law, and public interest.

This summer, we are pleased to welcome Luciano G. Sánchez Bonet and Manuel O. Velázquez Jurado as our Summer Associates.

Luciano Sánchez Bonet is a first-year student at the University of Puerto Rico School of Law. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minor in Finance from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez. Prior to entering law school, Luciano gained experience in auditing, bringing a solid financial perspective to his legal training.

Manuel Velázquez Jurado is a second-year law student at the University of Puerto Rico School of Law. He earned his undergraduate degree in Public Relations and Advertising from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. With professional experience in strategic communications and public service, Manuel brings a well-rounded and people-centered approach to the legal field.

Throughout the program, Luciano and Manuel will engage in a wide range of substantive legal work, including attending court hearings, depositions, commercial closings, legal research, and document drafting. They will also benefit from close mentorship, participate in internal seminars, and contribute to community engagement through a required service component.

As part of our ongoing collaboration with Caras con Causa, we also welcome Josué Rodríguez Huertas, who joins us as a Summer Intern through their 2025 Internship Program. Josué has been admitted to the Ferré Rangel School of Communication at the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón and will contribute to communications and public interest initiatives at the firm.

Led by Claudia G. De León Domínguez, the MH Summer Program is designed to immerse participants in a dynamic, collaborative, and challenging environment that reflects the values and excellence of our firm. We look forward to a summer of learning, growth, and shared success.
