Mr. Marichal Aponte, co-founder of Marichal Hernández LLC, is a seasoned attorney with over 40 years of experience, specializing in transactional practice, tax law, corporate law, estate planning, and succession law. After earning his J.D. from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Law, and a B.B.A. from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, Marichal began his career in the tax department of Arthur Andersen & Co., advancing to a senior tax role and then as a tax attorney, setting the stage for establishing his practice.
In 1988, Marichal Aponte co-founded Marichal Hernández LLC. His initial focus on litigation in commercial cases evolved into a transactional practice, where he became a pivotal advisor in mergers, acquisitions, and multi-million-dollar business transactions.
Marichal Aponte has played a crucial role in supporting Puerto Rico’s agricultural industries, particularly the dairy sector.
